Re: February 5-11 Chat Thread

Oh no, you guys are making me nervous! I'm nearly positive this one is a girl....but hopefully we'll find out for sure tomorrow at our ultrasound!

I've always been wrong. This time I was so sure, too. I really thought girl. But we're having a boy. And I was surprised at first, but am very happy to be having another boy. Going in to the ultrasound, he asked me if I was going to be disappointed if it isn't a girl. I told him, no, that I'd be disappointed that my intuition is so wrong. Oh, well, I guess. My intuition is generally right on most things, just not in this area.

Oh,another funny thing. My MIL is always wrong on her guesses, and this time she has been right. (My SIL & I are both expecting, and she guessed right for both of us.) And we have a good friend who has always been right when he guesses (with us and other friends) and this time he was wrong.

Re: February 5-11 Chat Thread

My Mom has been right for both girls. This time my brain is screaming "It's a BOY!!!!" to me and she can't figure it out. We'll have to wait and see though! We'll be thrilled either way.

I don't know if y'all know, but DH is in SC already (has been for nearly a month) to start working for the police dept. We were trying to hold out until April to move down because that's when B's spring break is and to also save money, get packed, etc. That didn't happen. He applied for a huge house on Saturday (my parents are moving down to SC with us. I'm an only child and they adore the girls. They'll be living with us for awhile so huge house was needed.) and we were approved!! We can move in 11 days! I'm SO excited. It's been crazy with work, the girls, and getting things ready. Add being pregnant and I'm just a mess most days.

Re: February 5-11 Chat Thread

We have our 20 week ultrasound this Tuesday. We are still debating on finding out if we have a boy or girl. My husband wants to, I don't.

I'm really showing now. I was outed at work by a co-worker Wednesday. She laughed, pointed at my belly and said "I would normally ask, but it's obvious that that is a baby bump. So congrats." I wasn't expecting that comment, so I didn't have a comeback. Since we were at lunch with half our staff, everyone knew by the end of the day. Oh well.

Re: February 5-11 Chat Thread

I'm not too worried if I am wrong. I put boys in pink and purple just like I would put girls in blue (if I ever have one ). If I knit and so forth, I think I would just not knit skirts or anything until I knew.
I wasn't planning on finding out and still don't UNLESS I have to have a sono. Since I am most likely going to have a hospital birth now and since I had that 2-3wk bleed (SCH), they might want one (whenever I choose my final provider, lol). So if there happens to be a sono, I will peek. We already have the baby named. 1st name is same for boy or girl, middle names are different depending on girl/boy. Also, I was adamant about no one (except DH, me and the kids) knowing DS5's name until he was born (he also has a GN name, so it didn't matter if he was a girl), but this time, I keep telling DH he can tell his parents. Until he decides to share it, though, I won't post it here.

*Yawn*
Morning! My almost 11 month old was up from 3-5:30 this morning, and woke at 6:15 for good. Mommy is a bit tired this morning!

Today the big kids don't have school, so that's nice. Thursday I have an ultrasound and ob appointment, which I'm excited for. Friday we have to go to the school because my 6 year old is getting a terrific kid award and Friday is also DH's birthday.

Today is going to be a cleaning/lazy day.
