Re: Junebugs Chat April 22-28th.....

ugh. add me to the ctx group, but i did way too much today:/ church, nursery, bday party at sand/jumping place(had to follow ds around for 2 hours), made strawberry jam, no nap
dh asked what i wanted for dinner and i said one of the leftover red bean and rice burgers from last night. ...and he went and ate them all i could seriously kick him. so i had a quesadilla

Re: Junebugs Chat April 22-28th.....

Friday night my contractions were HORRIBLE....They were hitting the 6+ an hour, so I drank water and went to bed...they were gone by morning. I knew if I called they would say to drink water and lay down(because the doctor has said that is what they will tell me the first time I call)...they were gone after a few hours...of course Saturday I planted the garden, by myself(if you want it done right, you do it yourself). I had contractions Saturday evening but not like Friday...of course I didn't sleep well at all Saturday night because I could NOT get comfortable. Yesterday every since contraction I had was accompanied by lots of pressure. I am thinking I will ask to be checked at my appt on Thursday because this is just so different than either of my other 2 pregnancies.

I got the baby's hospital bag packed yesterday but still need to make a list for my bag and then the bag for the delivery room(since they ask that you have separate bags for delivery/postpartum at this hospital).

I also want to type up my birth plan and get a few copies printed out of it. I want to take one on Thursday to the OB to get it in my file there.

I had a meet-the-baby gathering last baby and i think I'll do it again for this one. It's nice for me to do since all our family lives like 3 hrs away so I'll have it at my mom's house.

I've seen it in just reg stores but i guess it depends on what brand you want.

We do a meet the baby day as well, that way all the relatives and friends can come and invade our house for one day then we can kick them out when we've had enough of company.

AFM- I have another sick munchkin, DS has a bad cough too so we're staying home today and puttering around at home. I might do some of the things on my before baby comes list. I got the baby clothes all washed and put away on thursday so I think I'll wash the baby bedding and get the woolies washed and prepped. Maybe I'll start reorganizing my bedroom too. Its supposed to be very hot today, like crazy summer temperatures so we are hiding from the heat.

Good doctor appointment this morning! No dilation yet! She said my cervix was soft, but closed. That takes a huge weight off my mind because in my other pregnancies, I dilated weeks before I went into labor. I feel like I can stop over-analyzing and timing all my contractions now.

The Henna is gorgeous!

I am exhausted. The walk to the bus today took almost 50 minutes. It is a great workout pushing the stroller up the hills though!

Me, me! I told DH this baby is so low I keep waiting to see an arm poking out lol He gets so freaked out when I say that though, it makes me

I know, I was thinking the same thing this morning. None here though, I'm going to stay pregnant just as long as I'm allowed. I have so much to do, I'm thinking 41ish weeks would be good.

Yah for no dialation! Hopefully the check doesn't induce anymore yucky ctx or progress!

Rosina: I that elbow pic! Was it sticking out like that for a while or was the picture of it a lucky shot?

AFM: Busy in my neck of the woods! Lots of work on the basement this weekend! Although DH and my dad took a bit of a break on the bedroom construction to build me a stand for my FL washer and dryer I was so excited!! I think after we're done painting the new bedrooms I'm going to let the kids use any extra paint to paint the stand for me because right now it's just natural wood.

Going to the chiro today, thank goodness! 5 full term pregnancies later and I'm sure she'll have her work cut out for her
