I want to get serious about weaning

No advice mama! Just understand you. I am done done done! DS2 is 23 months & still asks me to nurse constantly- he even asks his dad! He eats like a darned horse! He has food allergies but he's already 33 lbs- heavier than his soon to be 4 yr old brother.
He nurses relentlessly through the night. Sometimes I can get him to sleep (walk/pat) but it can take forever & I'm so sleep deprived my sense of well being is often shot. :/
DH is writing his thesis & finishing his MDiV while working so these next few months he cannot help at night- & I just cannot keep putting it off.
If I try to tell him they're sleeping he freaks. I it's during the day he'll usually be ok (though still fuss!) w/a drink or snack.

She hasn't nursed in 5 1/2 days now.

At night, she is fine as I never really nursed her to sleep at night. Nap time & after dinner is the worst times. She is not happy but has slowly stopped grabbing for them.

It hasn't been awful but it hasn't been fun either.

How did you get her to take a sippy, my daughter is one and refuse to take anything other than to be BF.
