Just a few days ago - 21 months post-partum. It started out really light, but now (day 3) is is pretty "average".

It sounds great to go so long without a period, right? But it's been frustrating since I'm almost 39 and really want to get pregnant again ASAP. It took us 2 1/2 years to get pregnant with our son due to male factor, so I've been anxious to try again.

I went back to work at 7 weeks PP. Then I quit pumping at work at 13 months PP. Still no period. Finally I had to consciously limit my son to bedtime and night time only to finally get my period back!

Re: Exclusively BF: When did your period return?

I have been exclusively breastfeeding my son for 4 months and so far no period...Sorry but here's a completely unrelated question to your post: how did you upload a picture to your profile? Thanks!

About 6 months pp. Maybe a bit heavier than usual?

My nipples felt sore nursing about 2 weeks before it came back. I'm guessing due to ovulation. Happened last cycle, too.

9 months and usual heavy first 2 days, spotting for next 2, then medium flow for a day or so

Re: Exclusively BF: When did your period return?

12 months postpartum with first, but we night weaned her because I was prego.
19 months postpartum with second all on its own - baby still nursing like crazy at night.
6.5 months and counting postpartum with third - no sign or early indicators of it returning.

And I didn't have periods before getting prego, so I can't speak to it being heavy or light

15 months-ish with both kids. I had plenty of warning from my body that it was coming, don't remember it being anything out of the ordinary but I only had two periods between each kid.

Re: Exclusively BF: When did your period return?

16 months pp with DD2 & 12 months pp with DS1. I think it would have been later with DS, but DH & I went out of the country without him & I wasn't as vigilant about pumping as I should have been while we were away. He continued to nurse when we got back, but AF returned the week we got home. I am currently 3 months pp with DS2 & have not had a period yet.

Mine started last week. 12 weeks postpartum. My last 2 have been that way. They both started sleeping through the night with maybe 1 night feed if any. I was hoping longer with this one but nope.
