What happens when you move?

We are seriously considering moving. I know I can ask this of my social workers but I dont want to unless we are 100% sure we are going to go through with it. Anyone BTDT was it a major pain? We will be in the same area and same agency.

They just do a walk through of the new place after you move and update the square footage etc, in the home study. Not a big deal at all within the same agency.

yup i just called the licensing worker and asked her. she said it was a really simple walk through.

Thanks ladies. We are excited about the possibility of moving. It will be to a 3bd 2.5 bath instead of our 2bd 1 bath. I am tired of this tiny house and all the heartbreaking memories it holds. Obviously there are many happy memories too but I remember so many sad and hurtful things here I just want a new start. I also want a better living situation for all these kiddos. Two beds is really complicating things esp with the special needs kiddos since they will prob have a nurse. That makes it hard to share a room with anyone since they will always be up and bother everyone.

Yes, we have done it. It was really no big deal, as long as your new home meets the standards (which you should be familiar with since you have already done 1 homestudy).
