Baby Wearing for Husband
We are expecting a new little one in January. With out first I used a baby K'tan and loved how simple it was to use. The problem is I am very petite 5'0" so it worked nice with my size. My husband is 6' 2" and has broad shoulders. He will be home with baby more and will be doing a lot of the leave after baby is born. I was wondering if anyone has husband's that baby wear in slings or carrier? If so what brand or style do you Recommendation? Probably the easier and simpler to use the better. Thank you in advanced.

Re: Baby Wearing for Husband
My husband uses a soft structured carrier. Our favorite is the boba 4G.

We had an Ergo Performance & loved the fit of it, but found the fabric was too stiff in the heat of summer & it would sometimes rub on baby's face (we did NOT have strap covers though at that time, so that may have helped)... and I thought it felt hotter to wear than the Boba. We also had a standard Ergo, but it was MUCH smaller than the Boba & I have really big kiddos at birth, so it was too small really quickly.. my kiddos would try & push out of it when they got mad (it would sometimes take them a bit to settle down in the carrier if they were tired... & if they were tired they would resist because they didn't want to nap and they knew the carrier equaled a nap for them! lol) & I was afraid they would fall out from on my back. I felt the Boba held them more securely. I sold both Ergos, kept the Boba, & bought a Tula toddler to have a larger carrier as they grew older. I love the Boba & wear it with a 2 YO. I wear the Tula for my kindergartner & he is still in frog position in it. Both carriers are VERY comfortable even with my 35-40+ # kiddos. Both carriers fit DH well too. Both my kiddos are way taller than peers their age, which you may find with your LOL also having a tall DH. HTH!

My husband uses an Ergo carrier, and he loves it! Our baby fits quite comfortably as well.

Re: Baby Wearing for Husband
We both use the lillebaby but if he is particularly broad shouldered there are carriers just for dads.
