Re: Missed Miscarriage:(

Oh wow. I had no idea it could take THAT long. Pretty sure my ob and primary dr will advise me against waiting that long and my family (dh included) will have a cow and drag me to the dr for intervention before ALLOWING me to wait that long out of fear for my health (and sanity.)
Please be in prayer for us as we wait.

I honestly dont know what a tincture even is.
But I do have a prescription for misoprostol (which will force my body into a physical mc) on standby at my local pharmacy, just in case it becomes necessary. And I will use it if it comes down to choosing that or a d&c.

It can be put into a tea or some can be used topically. It is an herb/ plant and it is a high concentration of it. Kinda like an essential oil. I am not familiar with the one the other mama posted about but maybe she can chime in.

Thanks. Well, if I do end up having to go that route, the tincture thing does sound preferable to the misoprostol, which is 4 pills used suppository-style down under. Plus 2 more meds taken orally to help with the pain and nausea side effects. I'm still waiting, for now.

maybe you can find that herb in a tincture near you?
I personally cannot imagine what it must be like to still have pregnancy symptoms after a confirmed loss. My pregnancy symptoms literally disappear when the baby's heartbeat stops. That is how I knew to be prepared for bad knews at the 2nd US with this baby. My only pregnancy symptom left is obviously the lack of a period. Yet, still no physical symptoms of mc either. Not sure why my body holds on for so long after each confirmed loss.
I would really like to read about the herbs/tinctures you mentioned. If you could link me or tell me where to look for them, I would greatly appreciate it. I really am hoping to wait it out but if it comes down to forcing it with meds or a d&c, I'd prefer the herbal method like what you used.

Thanks. There is good news in all this. Because of the number of losses and the long length of time between pregnancies, my drs started running some bloodwork to see if there might be a simple explaination that may help in the future. Turns out, they may have part of the answer already: My thyroid. I'm being referred to a specialist soon to determine more and see what they suggest to correct it.

Well that is a blessing. Hopefully if they get your thyroid back to normal all will be well again. Continued prayers
