Placenta encapsulation

Or maybe without the pills you would be feeling worse? It's hard to know. Sorry you are going though this. I felt great after my last birth, but I swear at 6 months, everything went bad. I hadn't thought about encapsulating my placenta as we moved away from my two encapsulation specialists, but I am rethinking this now.

Just wanted to share that I did my own placenta encapsulation and it went well. I followed these instructions(shows placenta pictures)http://www.cafemom.com/journals/read...xt=11#comments.
I did it by myself on day 2 pp. Steaming and dehydrating it wasn't challenging. I used my oven on the lowest setting with the door propped open for dehydrating. It maintained a temp of 150º that way and took about 4 hours to dehydrate completely. Filling the capsules wasn't hard, just time consuming. Dh bought me a bullet filler with an attached mini pan and it helped a lot. I got 100 capsules. They really helped the first week and now I just take them if I start having a rough day.

I had a difficult post partum period with ds#1. My experience was completely, entirely different in virtually every way with ds#2.

Thing is, I've never done placenta encapsulation but just wanted to say that sometimes it can be phenomenally, completely worlds different without it.
