combi double stroller?

im looking to buy a double stroller soon but unfortunatly i cant find anywhere around here that sells the one i want so im going to order it online but can't decide between these two. Anyone test drive both and can tell me which one they felt is better.

or this one

does the canopy part go all the way down to block the sun all the way out. Anyone have any other suggestions for a double stroller. I like the combi because they are so much smaller than most double strollers i have seen. I need to decide soon before the free shipping thing is over.

oh and are both ok for laying a newborn down in them?

links dont work.

I test drove the sport and deluxe. I thought the sport handled better than the deluxe. I would have bought the sport.

BUT I got a phil and teds instead

Re: combi double stroller?

I have the 2nd one (side by side) LX. I really like it! It's really light and easy to fold (once you figure out how to do it).

The canopy doesn't block the sun especially well, but I don't think I've ever come across a stroller that has a wonderful canopy anyway. The recline on the stroller is really good for infants--it worked fine for DD from a few weeks old.

I haven't test driven the first one there, but I did try out some strollers that were long like that and it was much harder for me to steer them, KWIM? I found the side-by-side to steer much better, IMO.

Re: combi double stroller?

I have had a tandem (frontto back) and as far as steering sideby side is the way to go! If you are goign to be doing a lot of shopping (atplaces with narrow isles) the front to back is the way to go.

THIS is why I had 3 double strollers (a front to back, side by side small like the combi, and a double jogger) They ALL servedtheir purpose. BUT, Itraded all three of them in for a Phil and teds

ETA: my space bar is going out on me

Re: combi double stroller?

My SIL has the Combi double that is front to back. She also had to order it online but she has been very happy with it. She was able to lay the baby down in the back and have her toddler in the front. IF you have other specific questions, pm me and I would be happy to ask her. HTH!
