Re: What to give for teething?

In the other thread here about the baby self feeders a lot of mommas said they would put frozen baby food or ice in them and give them to their DC for help with teething and such.

Re: What to give for teething?

If hes not acting like hes in pain, nothing..ds always cut more than 1 at a time, and it never really bothered him..when it did and nothing worked, we went to motrin, but that was the last resort. ds also got all 4 eye teeth and his 1yr molars at/around the same time...you WILL know if hes in pain

Re: What to give for teething?

Our order of homeopathic treatments:
*Amber Teething Necklace worn at all times during teething bouts
*Camilia drops (Usually all we need to help w/ the pain)
*Few drops Clove Oil diluted in organic canola (or any) oil--test to your lips to make sure it doesn't feel 'burny'--a natural analgesic
*Hyland's (when desperate--have only had to use 2x)

We've never needed more than this. When DD's first molars were coming in and she had a fever and was a slug, we used a few kinds of homeo. pellets for fever reduction, but we're still unpacking and I can't find them now...

Re: What to give for teething?

We use:
teething necklace
ice cube in mesh feeder
hyland's tablets
viburcol if there's fever
tylenol or motrin at bedtime, if they have trouble sleeping
