Flats

Just got some small GMD flats in and I love them!!! I am actually really surprised how well they work. Just thought I would share my new found love, and even like them better than my prefolds

I love flats too! With my first I thought prefolds were my fav. I started cloth with him at 3 months. The my newbie came and I realized I don't love them for newborns at all! Flats are working for us much better.

Thanks for sharing! how is the absorbency on these?

Turns out my DD is a heavy wetter with sensitive skin so I've had to switch to pockets for now but I go back to flats every so often

I'm thinking of picking up a dozen just to try as well! Lots of flat love on the boards!

Re: Flats

I have been doing the origami fold for my three week old girl and it has been working great. The absorbency is great and it catches the newborn efb poo really well. Haven't had a leak yet. I just make sure I fold the sides in around her legs really tight.

Re: Flats

Love flats here, too! Don't reach for the prefolds much anymore as we're potty-learning and they take forever to dry. Padfolded flats in flips - we snap them loosely around the waist to pull up and down. They are hypnotic on the clothesline and dry so stinkin' fast! Love pinning them to go coverless, also. GMD large is what we've always used (although I did FSOT my Swaddlebees print flats because I didn't find them as absorbent as GMD).
