age space for sharing room

Those of you who have a baby and an older child sharing a room, please explain to me how you do it? We have 4 bedrooms, 3 up, master down. The 3 oldest are in their own rooms, 7mo is in a pnp in our room. We're thinking of putting him with DD (6). My two middle sons are 4 and 2, I can't imagine having them share a room, especially since the 2yo is still in his crib. I'm not against sharing rooms, but I just don't know how to make the transition especially when it comes to nap/bedtime strategies?
