How to get inserts white again?

How do you get them white again? Mine are tinted pink because of a dyed prefold. How can I get them white again. I have already bleached them, that didnt work. Any suggestioins?

How did you bleach them? Did you try soaking them in a bucket w/ bleach and hot water? I know a lot of people are anti-bleach, but I've had a couple of bad stains recently on my inserts, and they look awesome after soaking for an hour or so in hot bleach-water. I make sure to wash them seperately and rinse really well in the washer afterwards.

HTH!

Rit makes a dye remover, but it stinks so bad I never used it. I had some dye color my VB doubler, but after months of regular washing it all came out.

Re: How to get inserts white again?

I did a medium hot wash with about 1/4 cup of bleach.

Re: How to get inserts white again?

I had a few CB inserts that became tinted yellow when I washed them with some flannel. I can't figure out which ones it was now. I think it was the combination of just using and washing them (I occasionally throw a little oxyclean in the wash) and sunning them. At first I thought nothing would make them white again, then one day I realized I didn't have any more yellow inserts!
