Opinion on BG Freetime??? - Cloth Diapers & Parenting Community

I have been using 4.0s & BGE, curious about the freetime.

Thoughts????

I LOVE them. They're as trim as the BGE but fit more like the pocket 4.0. There is something about the way BGE fit that I don't like- the belly, up by the snaps, always rides down and the inside starts to peek out and the edges roll. And I have not been impressed with how they hold up for the price- the holes don't affect the function but it bothers me. My Freetimes hold as much as the Elementals and just work better for us.

I liked mine a lot. Out DD's entire first stash were Freetimes, but we had to sell them due to our hard water not agreeing with the microfiber... I was so bummed! They were awesome diapers, and I loved the fit!

If you like BG products and don't hate microfiber, you'll probably like them. I'm just not big on microfiber.

Trying to spray poop off of them is a nightmare! It gets all up in the layers and the pockets on the flaps.

They just did not work for us as they leaked every time we used them. My son was only 4 months old at the time. Also, dealing with the flaps while spraying was aggravating. I will have 2 for sale here soon...

FWIW, I love the 4.0s.

They don't last my 6 month old ds longer than 2 hours, if that. I just don't understand why ppl love them so much.

I've never met a diaper that ever lasted more than 2 hours on either of my kids. Not sure I'd want to.. What do you usually use that lasts longer?
