How do you get the "neat fold" snug around the legs?

I have been trying out different folding techniques for flat diapers. I have done the kite fold and the neat fold. Now I am trying the "Diaper bag fold". I can't seem to put it on without a huge gap around the legs. I do jelly roll it in, but it is still really loose.

Any tips or tricks?

PS. I meant the diaper bag fold, not neat fold, but I don't know how to change the title.

I love the neat fold -- rectangle flats all the way

Good Luck

(no pic btw)

wouldn't jelly rolling the back area of the legs fix that?

I tried jelly rolling, which I didn't do for the pic because I wanted the show how gappy it was. Usually I can figure out how to pull it tight.

I moved on to the origami fold for the time being. I like the "pad" in that one. Easy to clean. However, I can't figure out how to get that one to fit my toddler.

I didn't use the diaperbag fold much. I would suggest the neat fold. It works in the diaper bag pretty well too (if that is the reason you were interested)

I am just trying out different folds to learn their pros and cons. That way, I can give first hand advice to others later.
