Re: Vaccine links
Was looking at this and found it useful - I know most people that are pro-deadly toxin don't care to see this information, but I find it valuable.

I don't have a problem with the information in the link you provided. However, it is not the full story. Just because something is reported to VAERS does not mean that the event was caused by a vaccine -- or even that it happened at all. I could go on that website right now and claim that my child had an MMR vaccine and contracted Anthrax as a result. Very few reports are followed up on and there is little to confirm whether a report is actually related to the vaccine. Keep in mind that when a child has a vaccine and then has XYZ happen in the next couple of days, there are any number of other things that that child likely did in that same timeframe -- they probably road in a car, drank milk or other substance, wore clothes, etc. All a report (assuming it isn't an entirely false report) does is establish a correlation in time between an event and a vaccine. If you continued to quote from the link you provided, this is from the same page: When evaluating data from VAERS, it is important to note that for any reported event, no cause-and-effect relationship has been established. VAERS receives reports on all potential associations between vaccines and adverse events. Therefore, VAERS collects data on any adverse event following vaccination, be it coincidental or truly caused by a vaccine. The report of an adverse event to VAERS is not documentation that vaccine caused the event.

Re: Vaccine links
Here are a list of links that were just added to the other thread in January. It is always helpful if the OP is willing to add the new links to their original post so all the info is in one place without people having to dig thru the whole thread. It's also helpful if they are deleted if it is brought to your attention that a link no longer works. These are just things I've seen some people do over the years and it has been most helpful.

Re: Vaccine links
TYVM for posting. I don't know why people have a problem with a pro vaccine thread when an anti vaccine thread already exists and is stickied.

Re: Vaccine links
Plain and simple: vaccines=poison and sickness and no vaccines=health and strong immune system. Don't vaccinate yourself, your children, or your pets...they're all bad!

Re: Vaccine links
I have never understood the idea of a "debate" or "another side" to an issue like this one where there is scientific consensus that vaccines are safe and effective

Re: Vaccine links
There is actually no scientific consensus that proves vaccines to be safe or effective. As a matter of fact there is zero scientific research available that has tested the safety of the vaccine schedule in its entirety. There is a study here or there done on either a single vaccine or a single ingredient in a vaccine, but no study involving every vaccine given to a child from birth to adult or from birth to grade school for that matter. So it isn't quite as black and white as to say vaccines are safe and effective. Not to mention that as far as effectiveness; no vax is 100% guaranteed to protect against the disease it's being administered for. I appreciate both view points on the topic and don't judge parents either way on their CHOICE of whether or not they vax, but it is very important to educate yourself with all available resources and make your decision only after you've have an educated opinion.

Re: Vaccine links
US Rep.'s have asked the CDC to be investigated because of their cover up in a vaccine study. This usually doesnt make major headlines unfortunately. Some doctors to look up regarding vaccines. They will be criticized or false allegations made if they are against vaccines, plain and simple. But trust me there are regular doctors that question the safety of vaccines but are afraid to speak up.

Re: Vaccine links
Just a thought, but perhaps keep this thread just for links for people to make up their own minds? And create a separate thread where people can sling mud back and forth while the debate it till their blue in the face?
Because the vax or no vax debate can get VERY ugly, and if you're trying to provide information, just provide it without opinions throwing people around. (I, for one, am pro-vaccines.) |
