Do you think we've avoided it?!?!

The girls are 6 weeks today and knock on wood, no signs of colic . For all you pro mamas out there...do you think we're out of the woods??

Sorry guys...just realized I probably put this in the wrong forum.

I'd say so! I was waiting with bated breath to see if I would get off easy with my second and I did!

I will be Debbie Downer here.
My oldest dd did wonderfully until about 6 weeks - and then she went through this period of about 3 weeks or so where she would have a total meltdown every evening. She would cry nonstop for about 2 hours. I thought I would lose my mind. Then one day she just stopped. It was weird and none of my other kids have done that.
BUT my best friend just had her second baby a few months ago, and HER baby went through the same thing at about 6 weeks - nonstop crying in the evening.
I dunno - but I hope your babies remain peaceful and happy!

I hope so Although, my DD didn't start the colic phase until she was 3 months old. It was very weird. She was so sweet like an angel when she was just born and then out of nowhere she started crying everyday at 6 pm for no reason when she was about 3 months old. It lasted for 2 months. I was so glad when it was over

That's what my baby is doing. He starts about 9 pm and goes until about 11pm. How long does it last?

Re: Do you think we've avoided it?!?!

honestly, I know very very very few kids who had colic and those who seemed to have it really had problems with diary or reflux, not colic.
