Packaging Ideas

Morning Ladies! I hope this is the correct place to post this question. I am hoping to start up a business sewing items from home, and doing sort of a feel for it right now. I am currently making name pillows. I need some packaging ideas for giving the orders to local customers. Any idea? My first thought was to use tissue paper and then wrap ribbon or twine around it...but worried that may appear sloppy. I have checked out Pinterest and google, but not really seeing any ideas that will work for my product. Anyone have any ideas??

Here is an example of what I am needing to package:
(sorry, Photobucket was not working for me this morning to rotate the picture.)

Re: Packaging Ideas

How about cellophane like what is used to wrap professional gift baskets? Cellophane, twine and your tags. ? Pretty much the same thing. Kraft paper or kraft paper/butcher paper gift bags? I've gotten blankets from etsy just in twine before and some diapers from a wahm literally in a trimmed to size trash bag...without any invoice or card tag nothing.

My Mood:
A mesh bag

Tissue and ribbon

You could even tie it in the salvage edge of the fabric you used to make the pillow

Re: Packaging Ideas

Thank you both for the input! I love the selvage idea. I opted to just try what I had in mind. I had hoped to use twine, but could not locate any in Joann. I picked up some chunky yarn for now and purchased some pretty tissue paper from the $1 spot at Target. This is how it turned out:

I like nice simple packaging when it is a hand made item. I think your ideas are all great. When I buy local it is usually because i want it to be less packaging, more organic, more thoughtfulness. I think you are right on track.
