How long does a Thirsties Duo size 1 fit

I have one of these covers and really like it. Which I'm suprised because I do not like the sized at all. I am trying to decide if I should order more size 1 or get them in size 2. Is there a big size difference? LO is 7 weeks and 12.12 lbs. She is on the middle rise on her cover, but can also wear it unsnapped. I was thinking to just get the size 2s but I don't want them to be super big.

Size 1 only fit my son until about 15 pounds when he was about 3 1/2 months. Based on your LO weight already, I wouldn't get anymore unless you are ok with them not fitting much longer. If you are planning on having more babies, that might be a deciding factor too. From what I understand, there is some between time where size 1s can be too big and size 2 are too big. I didn't buy any size 2s until DS was over 9 months because I really liked how my flips were fitting him once he was too big for thirsties size 1s.

Fionn is almost 4mo and 16lbs. He is wearing size 1 with a yellow and preemie GMD pf.

Mine is 4.5 months and 15lbs, size 1 still fits fine on the largest setting, but we use flats so not a lot of bulk underneath. I would get some OS covers.

Ours only fit to 15 lbs. I never got the size two because I heard a lot of problems with the snaps and also the big gap between the two sizes. I loved the size one though. I had six and plan to get a few more for our new baby. We also moved to flips after size one was outgrown.

I have twins...weigh the same about 15 poundsbut bg is wider and size 2 fits around waist. Bb is a little slimmer and size 2 is too big leaves gaps around waist. So I guess it depends;(

I hear there is a size gap between sz1 and sz2. I would doubt you could go up to sz2 this early. My son wore sz1 them for about 3 months. I didn't end up using sz2 (though I did love the sz1 -- we do aI2 systems later on)

about 3-4 months, up to 14ish pounds, but we could have squeezed more use out of them, we just had lots of OS covers ready and waiting for the little bum

They don't go up to the 6 months they claim to, thats for sure. I think I used them up till 4 months? I was not impressed when Lulu out grew them so fast! There is a gap between the 1's and 2's, but I found that it was actually not as big as I though - the 2's LOOK huge, but actually fit rather well by 5 1/2 months or so.
