"hows it hanging?" and WHY???

yes this is about male body parts
i changed DS yesterday(first boy) and he peed immediately. i told dh that he went through 2 diapers while i was changing him and he stated that he bet he wet the left side i said yes, how did you know???? and he swears that thats the side it hangs/rests onyes DS's goes down to the left but i find it hard to believe that every boy's does
so does your son's rest to the left?? and does anyone know WHY??????

I actually saw this on Dr. Oz one day. He said that one teste always hangs lower than the other and that effects which way it hangs. I think it is something to do with regulating temperature. And it is not the same way for every guy.

LOL.. I have never thought about it.

I don't have a boy. But, I have one daycare baby boy right now, and his is ALWAYS pointing up. Even if I put it down and try to trap it down, he pees right up out of his diaper. Especially if he's sleeping.

I just had to check since I never really noticed on any of my boys. It does seem like my youngest does hang the slightest bit to the left. I would guess this is probably different for every kid though.

Oh yeah and about the testicles being an explaination. I can totally see this, my first two had one testicle that took a few months after birth to descend into the sac. I always noticed when it was cold it would shrink up a little closer to their bodies. I can see where this would effect the way they "hung".

haha. DS is usually towards my right, so his left. lol what a question- thought I think of stuff like this all the time!

Baby DS was sleeping nude in the crib behind me.. His is to the left, and he is really BIG for a one year old, already bigger than my 8 year olds. (I can say that they both take after there fathers LOL but I digress)

AGREED!!! Both of my boys had this issue of one taking longer to "drop"

When you have pants tailored (for a suit), they'll ask which way you "dress". I go to the right. They build a little extra room in that side for the package.
