You could try it.....sounds like it might work. The pins do go through all the layers of fabric wich helps old it in place though. I've found my very active baby gets a loose diaper very quickly when I use a snappi coverless.

As soon as I get my Ikea muslin / burp cloth flats washed I am going to try this out! It looks so neat and trim! I'm hoping pinning a flat will go better than may previous sorry attempts at pinning a PF.

I actually got one side okay but the other side no way. She was squirming and while I'm a pretty good pinner I just couldn't do it this way! (with the FRONT flaps over the back ones). I'm gonna try again when she's more chill

I dont like trying to pin Fynn's diaper when he is wriggly either, I have found that Fynn is happy to let me do what I need to do if he has a toy to play with. He loves his play mat and it keeps him busy while I get on with changing his diaper.
