Nedra, I have heard of people getting blue dawn at dollarama. I just got crunchy clean diaper detergent from sew crafty baby in the US. Even with shipping at $12.95 a bag for 80 loads and no tax, duties it's so worth it.

Re: NL momma's?

nak

Hi all. I'm Amber from Paradise. I have Jesse (he'll be 4 in January) and Quinn (6 months). There are actually lots of CDing mamas in and around St. John's. Go to the Farmer's Market on any given Saturday and I guarantee that at least half of the babies there are in cloth! Also, you'll see a lot of cloth diapered babies at LLL meetings.

As for detergent, you can get Claudia's Choices from Melissa Perrin, the Sweetheart Diapers rep in St. John's. It's really good. If you get the bucket of it, it's pretty cost effective. That thing will last you a year or more if you only use it for dipes. I'm currently using econuts, which are also pretty good cost wise. I get them through a co op a friend of mine runs a couple times a year.

Happy to see a few NL mammals around still.

I have found in the past couple of months I've met a lot of parents who cd around here (St. John's). Good to see!

As for detergents, I find it hard to find anything locally as well. I'm unsung econuts now as well I think I got then on greenbabybargains.com. I find them great.

You can get Rockin' Green from Laura Vokey. She's in St. John's. Just purchase through her site and you can pick it up from her. She's in Airport Heights. www.babyware.ca

I also have a package of rockin green that is not open I am selling for $15 if anyone is interested!

I have some diaps I am selling as well.... is it ok if I post them here?

Re: NL momma's?

I don't know if that would brake any rules or anything... It makes sense to me if you're not willing to ship to anywhere else...Or maybe you should put a thread in Canadian fsot and just link to it here so we will see it?... I really don't know you might have to ask a mod. :P

On detergents; I ordered ecosprout after from the nearest distributor I could find, kawarthacloth.com (Ontario) and it's awesome and seems to be lasting a fairly long time, so I think I got my money's worth, and they don't charge tax.

Re: NL momma's?

I actually have them listed on the FB page so I will link the album here

I am also gauging any interest in a large lot of AMP Duo OS diaps with Bamboo inserts

Thanks momma's

Re: NL momma's?

It might be a good idea to post them on the St. John's Cloth Diapering Mamas group:
