pre-school
at what age do kids normally start preschool? just wondering.
my dd will be 2 in August, and if they start at the age of 3 I'm going to have to start looking around from time to time at the preschools.ETA: where do I even find pre-schools for my dd?

Re: pre-school
In my city, we went to mommy and me class for 2 yr old. Then last year, a 3 yr old program. This year, she went to a private pre school. I'm so glad she's starting K this fall. We're broke! LOL

If everyone was the same the world would be a VERY boring place.

Re: pre-school
Here the age is 3 to start young preschool and 4 for regular preschool. I am looking into them as dd will be 4 at the end of summer and I amazed at the cost. The cheapest I could find (co-op) is $100 a month and average seems to be $150/$175 a month and the "higher end" ones are $225/$250 a month. This is for 2, 3 hour session a week.

No, I didn't have a bad homeschooling experience at all!! I just want my kids to be able to have a "normal" life going to school and making friends and what not. That's just me though!! Each to their own!!

It's ironic that you take offense to her "insinuation"... I know she takes great offense to you insinuating preschool is bad. Also as a former homeschooled kid, she has every right to say what she thinks about homeschoolers...she was one... they aren't "insinuations" they are experiences.
