Re: pre-school
We had one of those at my high school, but all the little ones attending had to be children of the high school kids.

Re: pre-school
Thats good that they had a place for DC of high school students to go!
I went to a highschool that also had a place that was like a Preschool/daycare for students that had young children....and there are always quite a few of them.

Re: pre-school
Yeah, it helped keep the high school kids in school. I was actually kind of jealous because I wanted a baby to put in there! (yeah, smart)
They also have head start programs for low income, I don't know if anyone mentioned that. I don't know Ginger's income level, but it's an idea if you can't afford preschool and you want it. |

If everyone was the same the world would be a VERY boring place.

Re: pre-school
I had my son when I was in the 10th grade and as a "perk" for me to stay at my highschool the principal signed Alex up for the child care program at the high school. It was totally free for me, my friends were with him all day and I got to pop in and visit him all I wanted. Because of that I was on the NHS, sports, graduated top of my class and got a partial scholarship. If I would've switched high schools and had to put Alex in day care I would've blown off highschool for sure. I'm going to look into that for Madi, great idea.
By the way I was the ONLy one in school with a child.

Re: pre-school
My son was born the summer before my senior year and he attended the hs daycare also. For us the baby center was only for hs students children but the prescool was for both student and non student children. It was a great program but we now live to far away to put Aubrey in that one.
