Weekly menu thread ?

Ok , I think I got mine for this week . I don't make anything on a particular day since dh's schedule is never same .

Stuffed shell with garlic bread
Chicken fried steak (trying The Pioneer Woman recipe)
Italian chicken with balsamic sauce (new recipe)
Skillet dish found in another thread here .
Spaghetti with Artichoke hearts and tomatoes from the pioneer woman again . Loooove this dish btw

I haven't got around to updating my blog yet, so no links, but here's what we're having/had.

Lasagna
Nachos
Grilled burgers and fries
grilled chicken sandwich (was supposed to be caesar salad, but the kids were gone, so DH and I just ate the chicken)
steak and mashed potatoes
will be out of town for the rest of the week

d- alfredo pasta w/ broccoli & garlic bread

b- egg sandwiches
l- fish sticks w/ green beans
d- cornbeef w/ corn over rice

Wed
b- cereal/poptarts
l- pepperoni & motza pizza balls
d- sauteed chicken & potatoes w/ onions

Thurs
b- fried eggs w/ saltines
l- chicken noodle
d- 7 layer dip w/ corn chips

Fri
b- cereal/poptarts
l- blt sandwiches
d- pesto tortellini

Sat
b- huevos rancheros w/ tortillas
l- empanadillas
d- pork fried rice

Sun
b- pancakes & sausage
l- snacks/leftovers
d- potato balls stuffed w/beef & garlic spinach

Mon
b- cereal/poptarts
l- biscuit bites
d- chicken wings & salad


*carrots, celery, cucumber, pickles all randomly available w/ lunch
*apples, oranges, bananas available for snacks

I have no idea what I am going to make next week. Dh is on service, and it's his first on service month, so I don't have a clue if he is going to be home for dinner or what. I'm going to make a few loaves of bread for the week, and then I can throw together egg in the hole or french toast or grilled cheese if I need to. I will probably make split pea and chicken soup, it carries over for a few days.

I'm just starting to do this I've made a list of ten dinners so that the next time we go shopping we can buy two of everything and be set for month. In no particular order:

Chicken paprika with wild rice
Chicken curry with wild rice
"family dinner" chicken (or tofu) noodle and veggie casserole.
Tacos with beans and or tvp and veggies
Lasagna with tvp, veggies and cauliflower in the cheese sauce
Homemade pizza
Spagghetti with tvp, salad
Homemade Mac n cheese
Burritos with beans/tvp/ veggies
Breaded chicken with orange sauce.

DH is in charge on Saturday (probably spaghetti....the kids aren't sure he knows how to make anything else. Ha.)

Sunday - grilled chicken and pasta salad
Monday - chicken broccoli casserole (back to school on Monday....this is DS#1's favorite dinner. )
Tuesday - homemade pizza, salad
Wednesday - Breakfast for dinner
Thursday - lasagna (making 3 to stock the freezer)

I can't remember for sure what is for next week and I'm too lazy to go upstairs and grab my book.

Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, peas
Chicken chili, salad
Salsa chicken with black beans and rice, salad, tortilla chips
Egg Salad w/ crackers, fruit, Veggies/Dip
Fried Chicken, Potato Salad, Veggies/Dip
Clean out the fridge (and if that's not enough, we'll grill some hot dogs)
Leftovers from lunch at the in-laws

I didn't have to got find the menu-it was already on my blog. Isn't technology amazing?
