I'm feeling great! I have an consultation appt with a homebirth midwife on 9/13 with hubby. I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!

So far, feeling pretty good. Sitting down for 6 hours of meetings today was rough, as I was feeling a bit bloated, but no other real symptoms. I'm already tired from chasing after a 2yo, and I'm starting back to work - I'm a preschool teacher - so I expect to be completely drained every day for the first couple months!

No appointment yet, as I'm looking into getting signed up for short-term disability through my work, and I can't have any appointments before I get signed up (If I end up doing it), because pregnancy would be a "pre-existing condition" and then would not be covered. I have prenatal vitamins from DS that are still good, so I'm taking those, and know the rest of the drill Hoping to get insurance stuff figured out soon, and make that first appointment! My doctor/midwife's office doesn't usually schedule appointments until 6-8 weeks at the earliest anyway, so they wouldn't give me an appointment if I called now until late Sept!

I am prob either the 1st or the 4th. I say the 4th, but we shall see what the OB and U/S say.

We have lots of May b-days...my moms' is the 2nd, MIL's is the 6th, brother's is the 22nd BIL's is the 19th and my son's is the 29th It's a busy month!

Dr said I was about 5 weeks at my scan on Friday but when I look at when we bd'd (the 8th and 13th of Aug) I would say that I could have only been 4 weeks at most. We'll see what the next scan says. I just hope that it won't be too early to see the heartbeat at just over 6 weeks.
