don't know it's totally healthy!!! Like these pureed blueberry and spinach popsicles. People don't believe me that kids eat them, but they do! Look at these faces! Can't you tell?

Any fun pictures and/or healthy tips you want to share that you do, but you're family doesn't know?

Re: I love it when they love it and.....

That's too funny!! What a great idea. I sneak spinach into all kinds of stuff....stew, spaghetti, all kinds of stuff. If you chop it up small enough and then cook it, kids never kow it's there. Well, my kids will eat spinach in salads and stuff and they know it's there. I mostly have to sneak it for my dh and other people's kids!! I made stew last night and my kids were all "yaaaayyy....stew" but my ds2's friend wouldn't stay the night because we were having stew for dinner. Most of my kids aren't too picky anyway. And yes, people are always shocked at the stuff they will eat.

One day I waited until my youngest two were down for a nap and the others were outside/gone to make myself some steamed brocolli. If I cook it when they are around they will want to eat it all. I gave them some later with ranch so they got some but I really wanted steamed.

I need to do this. DD doesn't like carrots so she has some organic carrot orange juice that she drinks. That's one of my sneaky ways. She could use some more greens besides peas..kid loves peas.

DS is only nine months, but he definitely loves his veggies. When we were out today he refused my fries (unsalted), in favour of his peas and pasta.

You are a BRAVE woman letting them eat that inside!

Kudos!

We have a juicer and when my step-girls are here I always make them "apple" juice. Little do they know I grind up carrots into it. I also hide all sorts of veggies in spaghetti sauce.

If they knew they wouldn't touch it, they live on Mcdonald's and boxed macaroni at home

Re: I love it when they love it and.....

Not a kid but my BIL's ex fiancee was ridiculous when it came to food. She only ate McDonald's, pizza, stuff like that (shockingly she was so skinny). So my MIL would puree all kinds of vegetables and put it in spaghetti sauce. She also would make her sweet tea with honey in it instead of sugar and the girl never knew any of it.
