Indoor swings
Do you have one? Do you love it? How did you hang it? I am in desperate need of one for my toddler. I prefer the kind with a back since she is just 2 1/2ys. But it is often just way too hot here to go to the park in the afternoon and I need something inside she loves to do.
I am looking at these.... http://www.swingsetmall.com/products...ant-Swing.html with the attachment bar. We live in military housing and holes in the woodwork are a huge no-no or I would just screw heavy duty eyehooks into the frames of the doors. |

Re: Indoor swings
That first picture looks like the little girl is dangling which is big time bad for the spine and hips. That would make me shy away from it. But otherwise it looks cool. I may get one for DD for christmas.
What about this one... http://www.thisnext.com/item/5827C9B...lly-Swing-Seat

Re: Indoor swings
Oh you mean like the net swing thay have...
http://www.swingsetmall.com/products...Net-Swing.html The picture of the infant in the swing is not a good pic. The swing itself is the same design as a regular playground infant swing, just in canvas insted of rubber/plastic. |

which I would totally love to do! I was also thinking that something like this or the other one would last longer and could be used all the way through the kid years.

Re: Indoor swings
First of all I would be very concerned about putting that up in a doorway that has fake wood molding around it. Second it would be MUCH easier and more secure to just put an eye bolt in the top of the door or through a joice (sp?) in the ceiling. We have done it and put up outdoor chairs in the house. The whole family loves it and it supports up to 300lbs!

Loving my Sailor

AP, signing Mama to Morwenna and Robyn (AMC/ Sheldon Hall Syndrome), doggie Mama to BMD Jesse and BMD Annabella. As crunchy as an organic oatmeal-raisin cookie

which I would totally love to do! I was also thinking that something like this or the other one would last longer and could be used all the way through the kid years.
