WTG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember my DH being freaked out with me nursing in public the first time with our first baby. Than again, I got to smart back with "Well, you're the one that told me to not worry because we forgot the diaper bag and I "have the food right here" so stop trying to shield me with that big ol' blanket! You're calling more attention to me!" Our baby was less than two weeks old (and yes, I forgot the diaperbag.. hey, at least I didn't forget the kid!) So I had it in me to be rebellious from the get go...

Keep it up and it does get easier... the only thing to remember is that if there is an inkling of a chance you'll have to nurse in public, wear a good nursing bra that is easy to get undone/done back up (preferrably with one hand) and a shirt that if baby goes "Whooooopsiedaisy I SEE YOU!" and lifts the dang thing up you won't be exposing everything. My 1 yr old LOVES to do that!

Great job Rachel - by doing that you are making breastfeeding more "normal" for everyone who sees you. There are tons of people out there who have *never* seen a woman breastfeed her child, which is very sad. It's so nice to be able to leave the house with only your baby and a spare dipe, knowing you can feed the babe whenever, wherever!

Keep it up, and next thing you know, you'll be like me (nursing the baby in the middle of an incredibly crowded pub while you wait for your table at the restaurant upstairs!).

Good job. I have gotten a lot more comfortable with it now that I have my second. I have to say I am a big girl so it is harder with the big boobs, I found my ring sling has made it SUPER easy to nurse in public. I did it @ DH high school reunion. Before I knew it DH had a bunch of old football buddies at our table and no one knew becacuse she was in her sling they thought she was sleeping

Keep it up and all of you who are a little scared GO FOR IT ~ YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!!
