Hanna Anderson My Best Ever First Socks. They have grippies on the bottom and just a little elastic right around the ankle and they go up half calf.

Trumphette socks are the only ones DS can get off by rubbing his feet together!

Mostly went sockless until she started wearing shoes full-time. The Target Circo brand were good for the 12-24 month size...as PP said, longer socks are better.

I heard from EVERYONE that socks were impossible to keep on babies, but we had no problems at all until he was old enough and aware enough to reach down and actually pull them off. Ours was an August 2010 baby, so he wore socks daily all winter and was in footed PJ's at night. We used carters, kohls, old navy, etc and probably some off brands in there that were gifted at the baby shower.

none I use robbies shoes to keep socks on and in the spring and summer our kids go barefoot.
