so its been so busy here. Andy had the measles about two weeks back, that wasnt bad. now everyone has a cold here in the house due to weather change. He is up and walking/running. And is sleeping in a big boy bed and through the night. for about 13 hours. and is off baby food and on our food like a champ. we are starting transition to milk. he has to have soy due to lactose intolerant. (note to self check the milk before drinking it, i ended up grabbing a cup of soy milk and almost vomited from it

oh we are still having issues with him pooping, so we are seeing a GI specialist. and he is on soooooo many medicines. its outrageous

Poor Andy I hope you get things sorted out soon!

Got my test results back my levels doubled overnight, although they are "still really low for being 9 weeks pregnant" to which I replied I think I'm only 5 weeks pregnant and explained I have had only 1 AF since having Henna. My levels seem to be right on track for that and I will have a scan to be sure. But we are super happy everything is looking okay thus far!

Mer: Congrats!!!!! I would deff say preggo. Especially with symptoms too.

Jul: Yay for potty and walking. Saw his video eating outside. He looks so much older than my little Addi....he is only like 5 days older.


Elena: Gosh, I am so ready for summer!!! It is starting to warm up here really well, buds on some trees, flowers on a few, and leaves on some others. The grass is greening up a little. But there was snow in the mountains today.

I totally agree with it being a downer month. Jul, you took the words out of my mouth with your post on wanting to lose weight before ttc but wanting to ttc all at the same time.

AFM Oh it has been a super stressful week! My sister (17) got mixed in with a guy. She is not a normal 17 yo, she has no social abilities and can't express her feelings/emotions AT ALL! Well, he came over after mom left to watch a movie and he went all the way, she wasn't happy with it and didn't want him to but didn't tell/show him that. So she is saying rape and he is saying consensual....It is a huge sticky mess and mom has been out of town all week so we have had sister over and doing police reports, rape crisis, ect. She just came ot terms with it yesterday that it might be a misunderstanding. Before it was rape.

We have been having bad issues with our car. DH finally figured out what was making it die. Then yesterday we went to town and found out while there that the radiator was cracked

We are thinking of ttc again. I really want ages close and 20 months already sounds far. So I'm not sure I want to wait anymore, but I'm not looking forward to being preggo

AFA Addi is turning into a bottle fed baby I don't know what has gotten into me/her. She doesn't really want to nurse anymore other than first thing in the morning. She will nurse for a minute or 2 and then want down. Then she is acting hungry. So I try to nurse again and she won't. SO I feed her real food in the highchair then try to nurse again....won't do it. So I give in and give her a bottle and she drinks 4 oz of formula right away! She sees a bottle and gets super excited and eager. I would say I get to nurse her 2x a day now. Morning is always a hit.

She is still not crawling. She will kinda lean forward and her butt will come off the floor, but she won't hold herself on her knees/hands. She can't seem to get her feet behind her. But she will finally kinda step now if you are holding her hands and supporting her.

She seems like she is gaining weight now and fast! Her legs are looking bigger, her tummy looks bigger, she feels more solid, less like a 4 month old. I am wondering if its the formula Was I starving her? Why would she gain on the formula but not on my milk or on food? I mean, this is itty bitty Addi at only 13 lbs...I have no idea what she weighs now.

She isn't talking at all now. She would kinda say mama (but now I think not on purpose) she was saying hi and waving to anyone who would look at her. Then she was saying yay and clapping, but rarely anymore. It's like she figures it out really well, then stops doing it. She just says bababbabababab all day long! Oh, and when she gets spit bubbles in there while saying baba it comes out vava. SO bababababab and vavavvavavavava all day long

No teeth yet. As far as I can tell, still no signs of teeth either. I swear she is a few months behind all the rest of them.

But that is ok....I still have a baby while most of you are getting toddlers

In a big boy bed?! I've actually been debating dragging out the toddler bed for Levi instead of the crib - I think he'd do better with it for naps and whatnot... not so much the sleeping, but when he wakes he'd be happier. He hates waking in his crib or in our bed alone, most times. I still can't imagine the walking - although Levi is getting closer and closer every day. He'll definitely be up and going before Isaac and Ruthie were (14 months).

It sounds like you're just not as far along as lmp. Not surprising with still nursing Henna.

No worries about keeping up - just post and say hi, say how you and Addi are doing! Did you get the results from her bloodwork back?
I'm sorry for your sister. Although, unfortunately, it does sound like a misunderstanding. I can understand her feeling like it was rape, but unless she said no or stop or actually shoved him off or pushed him away, if she just went along with it no matter how begrudgingly, how would he know what she was feeling, kwim? to her.
And to you about Addi and the bottle. That stinks.

AFM: Busy day today, in town for MOTS and lunch, and Zech wants me to take him to karate tonight - I think I'm going to leave Levi with DH at home. It'll mean a couple hours apart, like 2.5, but he'll eat supper and can drink water until I get back. I'll nurse him right before we leave.

oh yeah the blood: Some of the tests were messed up because they didn't shake the blood...so those will be re-done someday. But the main one to see if she has the blood disorder DH has came back negative

Shannon - Sorry to hear about your sister, I wish people would educate their children about sex more. Anymore I almost feel like a guy should actually ask, like there should be a conversation about how both of the parties involved feel about having sex. I think a huge issue is that some parents don't approach the subject of sex and so what you see on TV is what educates people about sex...which is SO not reality. Anyway so sorry for your sister, even if she didn't say no, he should have asked, and while it's not rape I can still understand her feeling violated as such.

On to more exciting things! So glad Addi is growing, yet so sorry that BFing is down. I have no idea what to tell you, I do know my sister was allergic to my mom's milk, so it's not totally uncommon for BM to not be the best choice, but I say keep at it and maybe she will want to nurse more soon.

Elena - 2.5 hours isn't too long, maybe try to enjoy a little time off? Even if it's not totally off

That would be the ideal for sex situations, but definitely not likely to happen - especially with younger kids. Yes, 17 is still a younger kid - I wouldn't have said it then, but I certainly do now!

No, it wasn't too long. Although I did miss Levi and his faces and antics while I was gone. It was an all right break. Zech chatted with (to, at times!) me the whole drive there and nearly the whole way back - which isn't really a bad thing, maybe good to have that one-on-one time.
DH said after an hour Levi started looking around the house for me, but he wasn't upset when I got home, so that's good. He did start whining at me when I started getting some supper cuz he was tired and wanted me to put him to bed, lol.

Soooo disney was great! I miss it so much already. Beautiful weather and DH was SOOOOOO great! Like a totally different man! Helpful, patient, happy and just wonderful! I don't get it. Why can't he be like that all the time. I think he was showing off for his parents really!

I had told Anthony that if we ever got seperated to find a castmember and pointed them out so he knew who they looked like. Well sure enough the second day we were there while at Magic Kingdom he got spereated from us. Well actually he was with DH but DH never pays attention and walks about 25 ft in front of him and just expects him to keep up! I was already back at the strollers. Dh walks up and I asked him where Anthony was.....he starts muttereing and looking around saying oh he was right behind me.....So we all spread out and start looking for him, calling him and what not. I walk about 200 yards away and I see him with a lady. I ran over to him and picked him up and the lady was so happy that we found each other. She told me that Anthony asked her to help him find a cast member because "I can't find my mommy and I need a castmember to help me like mommy said" Scared to poop out of me!

I can't remember if I posted since being away so I hope I am not repeating anything!

It wasn't as bad as I thought with MIL. She did talk my ear off but oh well. She is so lonely and honestly nobody gives her the time of day. My FIL is such a jerk sometimes to her. He brushes her off, ignores her and is just an arrogant SOB. One time he told her "joyce go play with the kids and make yourself useful" I told DH that if he ever ever treated me like that I would be gone quicker than he can say no!

The flight home was pretty rough! We were late like usual (thank you DH) and I had to go thru security with the kids alone which was horrible! then the kids ears bothered them and they were just so tired!

Cooper didn't sleep well the whole trip either. Last night he slept the whole night in the hammock!

Tamara - I've been wondering when you were supposed to be getting back! Glad to hear everything went well with DH and the kids and the whole trip. I often feel the same with DH around his or my family, though - he seems like a totally different person/father when we're with other people, like he's just doing it all for show, at home when it's just us he's not the same person at all.
Thank heavens you found Anthony!! I would have died. It was horrible enough losing Isaac just in our little mall, I can't imagine in a place that big. Oh dear.

Mer I never said Congrats! I am so happy for you! Every pregnancy of mine have always started out like that. I would have to have me levels checked every other day because they never rose fast enough. I think it is just that I find out super duper early and not the normal 6 weeks or so!

Shannon I am so happy that Addi's blood work came back a-ok. What a relief.

Elena yeah, it was scary all right. He said that he got lost while with daddy 2 other times. Not sure how factual that is but oh well. He is safe now.


So I have put my foot down on the moving to NJ thing. We are still up in the air about our house. We have a loan mod thing in process so hopefully that will help. If not I am seriously wanting to move to Fl. I love it there. Not just for disney, but the weather, the people all seem SO happy! So we will see. I keep seeing really nice houses for rent for $1000 less than what we pay. Jul, what areas are nice in Fl? I was thinking St. Cloud, Lake Mary, Winter Park...all southern FL.
