Stuffed baked potato's?
Can anyone tell me how to do this? What can I stuff into these things? I'd like to lean towards other veggies and cheese...all idea's welcome...And do I cook the potato for a bit first and then add stuff? Thanks

Re: Stuffed baked potato's?
I usually bake the potatoes first, then open them up and stuff them with things like - black beans, chick peas, broccoli, corn, zucchini, squash, edamame, onions, really any veggie and top with shredded cheese, bake for a bit until the cheese is melted and then I top them with sour cream, black olives and tomatoes.
HTH!

Re: Stuffed baked potato's?
Are "Stuffed" potatoes like twice baked potatoes? If they are.. then I just bake them whole.. then when they're done, cut them in half-lengthwise. Then scoop out all of the potato leaving the skin as a shell. Then I add sour cream, cheese, veggies, etc to the big bowl of "innards". Then simply restuff the shells with the new and improved potato innards. I then bake for about 10-15 minutes to get the cheese melty.. like PP.
good luck

Ditto!! Thats how I make mine! Something I do also, I wrap the tator in foil for about 45 minutes of the cooking time then take the foil off and rub olive oil on the skin and sprinkle salt and pepper on them. Twice Baked Tators sound good now!!

Re: Stuffed baked potato's?
I'm from Bama, and to me a stuffed baked potato is a baked potato topped with shredded chedder, bbq, and sour cream.....Dang, I miss bbq. For some reason, bbq isn't popular in Germany.
