has anyone been pregnant with fifth desease

So my 1yr old has it my 2yr old may since she had been sick over the weekend, and I am pregant and of course there are concerns with the unborn fetus. Has anyone had it while pregnant have you had any problems?

My mom doens't remember me having it which I know there is greater concern if you havn't had it before and also in the first half of pregnancy which we just started the second trimester. Thanks for any info.

It's more dangerous if you're under 20 weeks. If you haven't had it before (usually as a child) you would have to get it AND your baby would have to get it through the placenta and even then there is not a big chance that something really bad would happen.

If you go to the doctor they will do a blood draw and see if you have immunity to it, and then they'll do another one to see if you've contracted it recently. If you don't have immunity to it they'll probably just do extra ultrasounds and monitor you more closely.

we are about 13 weeks the first test came back and now have to take more test to see how this is going to affect the rest of the pregnancy
