what a great boned house! I'd be all over it too! I can't wait to see the final pics mama. We built our house when I was pg with dd3, and all the HARD work was SO worth it when I brought my very new, very ill preemie home to a nice, clean, beautiful home! I'm sure you'll love it too!

Thanks ladies! I really like the color (from the pics). I'll be going this weekend to see it first hand. Hopefully the floors will be getting leveled out this week, and work can progress. Going to be more demo before it really starts getting built back up. It's amazing what some paint can do though!! plus fixing a bunch of those terrible tiles. Just wish this didn't have to be a wknd only project.

bump for a few added pics. Guys are almost done getting the floor leveled. Dh said it's a major improvement! They took out the old chimney (which was sandwiched in the walls), taking a lot of weight off the floors, and giving us free hardscape material. Not to mention dh can run duct throught that empty spot up to the attic now. So we can get rid of the drop ceiling in the dining room,plus the furnace will be moved into the front closet area, freeing up a big space in the dining room!

new pics added- not pretty! Dh has removed the old plumbing and they are leveling out the kitchen floor by redoing the exterior foundation. It's not done yet, but should be by next weekend. The sunroom area has been gutted and is ready to have the rim joist fixed. I think he said the duct is almost all run now. With the furnace out of the way, they can start making the new doorway from the living room to the dining. Plus they started to rip out the less than sturdy wall that was the stairwell. I am not sure what the end result will be but it's already an improvement! They didn't get all the rubbish cleaned up before taking the pics so it's a big fat mess in areas, but the dumpster is only so big, lol. Still have all the plaster to remove. I'm sure after these next 2 wknds coming up we will be much further along and we can start with the fun stuff! FX for that!
