Sorry to hear that. <3 I My water originally started leaking at 22 weeks and I was told there was nothing they could/were going to do about it unless I made it another week. I made it the week and it had sealed on its own at home. I made it another long hard 12 weeks before I delivered a beautiful baby boy who is now perfect. I just had 3 friend have babies at the 28 week mark and all are fine after a few weeks in the NICU. 28 weeks was the original goal for me as it is the first big difference in alot of the drop in problems. Prayers to her.

Hey Mama - I know you already looked at my SIL blog page, but her twins were just a couple days shy of 28 weeks as well.

They were both 2 lbs 5 oz. They spent 10 and 11 weeks in the NICU. It was a rollercoaster for them. My brother is an OBGYN and it was still crazy for him even though he knows the medical stuff.

But from the blog you can see they are looking great now.

Prayers for your niece and the boys!!

The first week is a honeymoon period. Usually they are pretty okay once they are stable. They will probably keep them really quiet and in the dark. They are trying to mimic the womb. The blood vessels are really fragile in the brain between 27-32 weeks and they try to keep them very still.
