Re: Favorite place to buy extended (cup) size Medela nursing bras

Thanks again for the suggestion on breakoutbras. I've done a little browsing, and while I was sure I wanted to get a Medela, now I'm curious about the Anita and Elomi bras....

Re: Favorite place to buy extended (cup) size Medela nursing bras

With my last baby the Medela Underwire was my favorite. With this baby I've tried the Elomi 3912 and the Anita 5035 and like them both better than the Medela. Both are more supportive with better lift and don't stretch out after wearing like the Medela. I prefer the Anita over the Elomi for a couple of reasons. The Anita has easier nursing clasps and doesn't have fabric going over the breast when the cup is undone. With the Elomi I can do the clasp one handed, but it took a little practice. Also the Elomi has the fabric going over the breast which requires adjusting when I close the cup.

I've also got this one on the way but haven't tried it yet. http://www.breakoutbras.com/product/...4/Nursing-Bras

Oh, also, I love ordering from BreakoutBras, but if you're going to try the Anita 5035 you can get it on Amazon for a lot cheaper. They also have free shipping and super easy returns. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/re.../dp/B0011MWESW

Good luck!

Thank you so much for this info. I have gotten larger with each kiddo, and don't think mine from dd2 will fit this time. I had no idea where I was going to find bras to fit. I just wish I knew what size I will be once my supply levels out so I could go ahead and order some.

I tried the Elomi this last time and ended up keeping it instead of sending it back, but it's just not one I reach for unless it's the only thing left, for exactly the same reasons you listed above. I find the band sizing runs small, too--by the end of the day, mine is really uncomfy, even on the largest band setting.

Thanks for the tip on the Anita, too--I order everything else from Amazon, don't know why I didn't think of nursing bras!

And I have a couple of Elomi 36Hs that have only been worn a couple of times I'm happy to unload for cheap if you're interested.
