Question Disneyland and pregnancy?Thx everyone, it went great!!

I think I posted before but don't remember
anyone been to disneyland while pg? If so, what rides do you suggest I stay away from? We are going to disneyland, disney california, knottsberry farm and universal studios next week for Dd's wish. I know I can't get on jerkey rides, but how do I know which are jerky rides?
I have looked online and some people who are further along are getting on drop rides, i won't be doing that..lol
I will be 11w1d when we got to disneyland, we are arriving monday but I have to go to an orientation that day so we won't actually visit until tuesday.
I will be back tonight, heading out to do some errands. Any help/advice/suggestions will be awesome, Thanks mama's!

Re: Disneyland and pregnancy?

We went to Disneyland last year and my sister-in-law was about 5 months pregnant when we went. There were plenty of rides that she could ride on. I think that the rule is to stay away from roller coasters and any rides that jerk you around. I was just at a 4th of July carnival where they wouldn't let me ride the ferris wheel with my daughter. I am pretty sure that is on the list of safe rides during pregnancy, but that guy seemed to think it would put me at risk for pre-term labor. Kind of ridiculous.

When you get there ask for a map at the gates, all rides marked with a red triangle are "physical considerations" meaning if you have health conditions or are pregnant don't ride.

Re: Disneyland and pregnancy?

I went a few weeks ago, and I went on a lot of the rides. They mark the ones that pregnant women shouldn't go on. There were some that felt too jerky to me and I wish I hadn't gone on them. I think it was the roger rabbit ride, the lady bug boogie at california adventure, alice in wonderland and mr toads wild ride. I agree with the previous post make sure you drink lots of water and rest when needed Have fun!

Thanks mama's, I remember the toontown rollercoaster was jerky, it doesn't show the red triangle on the map, but I have been on it years ago so know not to get on again. Did you get on the buzz lightyear?

I don't think buzz lightyear s, but I thought the toystory one was a little jerky (on the california side).

Re: Disneyland and pregnancy?

I went to DL when I was around 22ish wks w/#2. I went on the rides for all ages. I did not go on any rides that had age/height restrictions.

Buzz is fine. We went on it at least 6 times.
