Again, Mamas, thank you for all the prayers!!! The only thing that keeps me going (and from going insane) is the support. I know it might sound silly but every single post in reply to my DD's situation brings me to tears (in a good way). The fact that all of you wonderful ladies care for someone you have never met truly touches my heart and that is really all I need right now. Just being a Mother makes you all some pretty incredible people and gives you an understanding of love for a child that I can't get anywhere else so THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU and God bless

Amazing how strong the littlest ones can be! You have nothing to feel guilty for; there are just some things beyond out control. But God has a reason and plan and purpose for everything and through it all, you'll discover strength you never knew you had. And who knows? Maybe through reading about your experience, you'll give hope to another mama who knows nothing about this condition but is given a similar diagnosis. I'm so happy that Shaelynn is gaining weight and growing stronger and remaining healthy each and every day. And I look forward to the day we see the announcement of her first homecoming..... there's already such a loving family waiting for her, there! I'd love to see your baby pics.... I'm a sucker for cute baby pics! PM me with a link please!

God Bless You & Your Family!

Wonderful that she's doing so well!

You mentioning her getting blisters from even having her ankles held for diaper changes reminded me a lot of this blog I ran across a while back - http://patriceandmattwilliams.blogspot.com/ it's not that, but it just struck me and I thought it may give a starting point anyways.

Wow, you must be psychic!!! The skin condition (EB) that this little boy has is actually the condition that the doctors believe Shaelynn is suffering from also. I'm praying everyday that they are wrong but if she does end up being diagnosed with EB, it will be the mildest form that they have ever seen. Thank you for the link

Thanks for the update. I cried when I read your original post, so sad for the empty feeling that you must have felt right after she was born and you felt you should still be carrying her. Prayers for your sweet girl to continue to grow and thrive! Sounds like she is doing awesome.

Wow Elena, I have never seen anything like that before If this little girly has that, I hope it is super super mild!
