Help me choose a double stroller (POLL)

I am on the fence between these two strollers. I like them both a lot.

This is the Phil&Teds

http://www.csnstores.com/Phil-and-Te...FQtggwodVEhgyA

I like this one because I have used it years ago (the classic version)-it was easy to steer. The only thing I don't like is that the younger child will be sitting a little lower than the toddler and therefore will be watching the world just turning his/her head left and right.

This is the Baby Jogger City Select:http://www.babyjogger.com/city_select_lp.aspx

I love how many dofferent ways you can set up the seats...

Re: Help me choose a double stroller (POLL)

I LOVE baby Jogger. I have their running stroller and I used to work in a store that sold all of them and I love all the functions of them. I don't like how the infant is at the bottom of the Phil and Ted. It seems like it's just too close to the ground. The baby jogger strollers are also really easy to steer.

Re: Help me choose a double stroller (POLL)

I just put a post on my blog comparing the P&T's Vibe to the e3/Sport/Classic versions. I didn't like the Vibe, overall, compared to my e3. It seemed like a better option from the website, but IRL it felt cheaper (LOTS of plastic) and less sturdy.
http://joyfilledmama.blogspot.com/20...t-vs-vibe.html

I was able to get my e3 (with accessories) on Craigslist from the other side of the country (she shipped it, and it only cost $35!) for less than half of the cost of a brand new stroller.

City Select for sure! Okay maybe I'm biased because it's what I have

But I got to try out both of them in the store and the P&t just seemed kind of cheap and not very sturdy, not what I would expect at all for that price point. Plus I don't like that one seat was "underneath" and I kept hitting it with my shins when I walked.

things I love about my BJCS-
-You can set up the seats almost any way you want
-Can be used with an infant car seat (you have to buy the adapter)
-Easy to steer
-SUPER easy to fold, takes all of 30 seconds
-Folds up pretty flat and I still have plenty of room in my small SUV for other stuff (groceries, etc)
-Both seats have the same weight limit
-Will not tip over even if it's empty and one kid is climbing in by himself

And they have tons of other cool accessories, yeah you have to buy them separately but this is a high end stroller! I just got a cupholder and I'm planning on getting the travel bag, maybe the kiddie board and the cooler looks pretty awesome too.

I got mine for $399 including doubles kit when the 2010 models went on sale, I've been using it for my 2 and 4 year old for about 6 months.

If I HAVE to pick form your two, I would say the City Select. I dislike the Vibe a lot.

BUT, that being said I had a P&T Sport and it was awesome. I know a few people who liked mine better than their Vibes. Their new Explorer is pretty fantastic. It addressed every issue I had with my Sport- no back shade, crappy wheel locks, non-rotating sunshade for the front. And it allows a toddler in the back with a carseat on the front (many do this anyways but now its technically supported by them). They are pretty available on Craigslist too if your willing to search local and some not-so-local areas.

Just saw your in Henderson, if your local CL is Las Vegas then nevermind on the finding one that way....not a lot to choose from IME.

I have the city select and I LOVE it! My son spilled milk in his seat and I just took his off and popped it in the washer. Its also great if you're a smaller gal. I have no problem getting it out of my car and it fits in even the smallest of trunks. It's also wonderful that it can be a single when I only put my 5 month old in and let my 2 year old walk. And the fact that they can face each other-brilliant! My kids are obsessed with each other!

Ps It's annoying that you have to buy an adapter but I just sold mine on amazon for $10 less than I paid (fits in medium flat rate box) No complaints there!

Personally I hate the Phill Teds style so I would go with the baby jogger
