Question about customs fees to US
Hi mamas!
I was hoping one of you might be able to help me figure this out. . . I live in the US and want to bid on a breastpump on ebay from a seller from Canada. I would be responsible for customs fees to the US but have no idea what to expect on something like that. It is a hospital grade pump so pretty heavy and not cheap either. Any of you have a guess as to what the charge might be or how to figure it out? The seller said the fees wouldn't be anything big, but wouldn't really tell me how much to expect. Thanks so much! |

Customs fees, taxes, duties will be charged by the U.S. on goods coming into the country. When something comes in to Canada the Canadian government charges the receiver up to 20% of the items value. Things exempt from this are things made in the U.S. Canada or Mexico because of the north American free trade agreement. the U.S. Customs website should have more details.

Re: Question about customs fees to US
Customs website is best for the info although most sellers just write "gift" on it.
