(PF) PREFOLD POLL: What Prefold FIT do you like most

With Prefolds, what FIT / SIZING do you like most?
(ie, wider, longer to add a fold in front, shorter / more trim to not be so bulky).

For right now, I like wider prefolds. My Boys are 22-23lbs and 27lbs. I prefer my pfs probably wider than necessary for ease of snappi-ing. All but our GMD browns have to be folded down, but I really don't mind. I do bikini twist with my narrower prefolds (which happen to be longer), but it isn't my favorite fold anymore. My favorite brand/size at the moment are my Bumpkins green edge. But I like my GMD brown edge and LL 4x6x4 toddler pfs.

For trifolding I preferred preemie prefolds up until we started using the full rise in our econobums. Super trim and as absorbent as a pocket. Now that we are to the full rise my favorite for trifolding (or bifolding) are the Econobums. Seems bulky when I use our infant premiums folded down and trifolded.

We like GMDs for night because of their absorbancy. We like ones that are longer because the fold over is nice, esp. on boys! (:

I'm the odd one out but i like standard sized prefolds (ie, infant, pre,ium, etc). Maybe b/c that's what I learned on? If I'm not pinning/snapping, then I like the shorter, wider ones.

The only prefolds we have had is GMD reds and I HATED them and the beginning of the weight range because my LO has such a short rise and we had to fold over a ridiculous amount but now at 22lbs and 17mos I love them so much because the rise is perfect. I am about to give them to SIL who just adopted a babygirl because we just don't reach for them since I found fitteds.
