wipe solution recipes??

I need a good recipe for a wipe solution... I've been using just plain water in a spray bottle or a little baby bath and water in one. The water just doesn't seem to work anymore bc the poops are getting bad and the soap leaves residue!

Re: wipe solution recipes??

I just started adding witch hazel to our solution instead of soap and it is working great! Some folks dont like the smell but I kinda do. You can always add essential oils to cover it up. Here is what my wipe sol is right now.
1.5c (boiled)water, 1/2c witch hazel, 1T Burt's Bees nourishing oil (smells SO good!), 3drops each GSE and TTO as yeast preventative since LO is prone to it. My TTO has lavender in it which adds an extra nice smell.

Re: wipe solution recipes??

Mine is similar....and I also just started adding witch hazel this summer

1 1/2 cup water
1/2 non-distilled witch hazel with aloe (LOVE this stuff!!)
2 TBSP Olive oil
1/4 TBSP baby/castile or whatever soap is handy or smells good at the time lol
4-6 drops of TTO

This fills my spray bottle that I keep at bedside....perfect amount to mix in a mason jar...I always make an extra "fridge batch" and leave it in my mixing mason so it's always ready! HTH!!

where do you get your witch hazel with aloe? I have only seen regular stuff. I saw a mama on here say she used witch hazel with lavender in it, I would love find that. Do you think it would be ok to use that much TTO plus GSE?
