Diaper Swappers

Just got two Blueberry diapers with the bamboo inserts. Do they need to be prepped (as in hot washes, Dawn, etc)? I have a dozen new prefolds to prep too, so it wouldn't be any trouble to throw them in together, just wanted to make sure it was necessary.

If the diapers are new, then yes they need to be prepped. Wash once in a hot wash and they are good to go. They will become more absorbent as you continue to wash them but are usable after one wash. I would just throw them in with the prefolds.

You do not need to to PREP with Dawn. If they are used then you may want to STRIP the dipes with dawn.

BTW, blueberry w/ bamboo inserts are awesome. I LOVE
