We don't have a diaper sprayer, but Kolten is 12 mos. and still nurses 90% of the time and eats solids the other 10% of the time. I normally let the solid poops fall into the toilet and then soak them in the washer. If I'm afraid they will stain, I rinse them off with my shower head in the shower on the "power wash" we call it, LOL.

Re: How do you handle your poopy diapers?
if its solid it rolls off into the toilet, we have all dipes with a velour or fleece inner, so they roll off easily, then i put it in our 'dirties' laundry basket...if its runny they go directly into the washing machine, i start it and the stop it once it fills and wait till all the dipes are dirty and go throught the cycles...so i kinda use it as a wet pail, but toddler proof

Re: How do you handle your poopy diapers?
I love my diaper sprayer! Especially for those "just sarting solids" poo. You know, not firm enough to roll off, not wet enough to just wash. Plus I have one that hooks up to the shower head and I get way more use out of it. I only shower with that now. Saves on water.

Re: How do you handle your poopy diapers?
EC is elimination communication...knowing the signs when baby needs to go and bringing them to the potty.
The diaper sprayer I have isn't really strong enough to blast off sticky poop, so I don't use it for dipes. I use my hose with the jet spray nozel and blast the poop into a bucket, which is then flushed down the toilet. This way is sooo much faster and less messy.

Re: How do you handle your poopy diapers?
The diaper sprayer gets on my nerves sometimes, but I keep going back for more of that lovely overspray
. Today I had some expecially funky poop (yesterday he stayed with grandma, and who knows what all grandma pokes down him) and I hosed it off right outside. Hey, great for the grass, great for my nose but most of the time it rolls right off. Whatever I am in the mood to do.

Re: How do you handle your poopy diapers?
I love our diaper sprayer. Most of his poop roll off into the toilet, but occasionally, particularly when he is teething, his poops are very messy. When I know he is going to poop soon and I expect it to be messy, I use a flushable liner.

Re: How do you handle your poopy diapers?
I couldn't live without my Mini Shower!! Zane's 26 months, but still drinks lots of BM. His poo is still peanut buttery/glue. I just spray and flush. I let the dipe soak for a few minutes if it's really bad, then finish spraying. To avoid over spray I hold the dipe down in the toilet with the poopy part against the bowl and spray. If there's a smidge of water on the toilet seat I just wipe with a bit of TP.
