are you supposed to always feel your letdown?
Just curious.. baby and I are both fine. I just don't feel my letdown at EVERY feeding. After about 5-6 fast strong sucks she changes to the slower suck swallow. She is gaining weight just fine so I know she is getting the good stuff.
Are you supposed to feel the letdown every time? What does it mean if you don't? TIA!

Re: are you supposed to always feel your letdown?
No
I've been breastfeeding for over 4 years now and still can't really tell when my milk lets down.

Re: are you supposed to always feel your letdown?
Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. I can just tell by her taking longer swallows whether I am letting down or not.
