My guy has only had bottles a very few times and he finally will take Dr. Browns or breastflow.

My DS responded well to Breastflow bottles (wide base, plus they have 2 parts to the nipple and do seem to be more "work"). Good luck!

ok, I just remembered I have some enfamil liquid samples that came with a latex nipple. So we're going to try that next (with breast milk not formula).

but how do you introduce a bottle when they just scream at it?

In the begining my ds would only take the Breastflow bottles. Now he will also take Advent or Medela bottles.

My DS will take the Playtex nursers. He doesn't seem to care one way or another, though.

I had luck with the Tommee Tippee with my son. They sell single bottles at babies r us and they are often on sale for BOGO 50% off.

once the find out there is mama milk in there they are usually more cooperative

also try to give it before he is really hungry and out of sorts. we had to try several types and he finally took the playtex nurser that is latex and flat looking. eventually he learned to take gerber first essentials which fit on my medela bottles...which was necessary after dh, mil and daycare spilled thanks to the drop in liners being goofy, even though I checked them a bunch of times

My son is funny, he would only take the Breastflow bottles from me while we were getting the hang of things (rocky start to BF'ing), and now he only wants breast from me, Tomme Tippee from my husband, and the Nuk bottles from our caregiver when we're at work. Try to change it up and he refuses.

I tried them all - had to go back to work and pumped - the only ones that worked were MAM, the thing I liked the best is that her mouth looked the same on a MAM as on me. It didn't take much to get her started, and she didn't ever, not once, ever drink from a different bottle.
