not quite "baby" wearing...

i was practicing a back carry with sydney earlier in the day. later I see her trying to get my size 7 wrap around herself. I helped her get her bitty baby on her back.


and then, I did a tandem wear!

holy cow those kiddos are heavy, but it was not too bad. doubt I would do that out and about or anything, but we had a blast for the few minutes we tried this.

and wow do I need to lose some serious weight. sheesh, I see myself one way and am always shocked at how much bigger I look in pictures. my face looks huge.

wow! nice job! maybe find Syndey a scarf that she could practice wrapping? I made Viv a pouch sling out of a scrap I had. ikwym about self image too. I feel like I look halfway decent until I see myself from the camera perspective... ugh. We have to learn to love ourselves unconditionally. And we are our worst critics anyhow.

Hugs Mama---I feel the same way too...the scale is finally going UP for me (after trying the whole pregnancy to gain weight!) and I'm almost back to 200.....I gained after Luke was 3 months old too.


I hate it, but people keep telling me I look slimmer...so maybe the weight is just shifting or all in my milk-bags!

Awesome! and I imagine they would be WAY too heavy to go too far with. lol I want to get miranda to wear Levi. lol

On a side note, I HATE how I look from the side whenI have the moby on and don't pull up the flap where the tag is, which I hardly ever do. lol I'm going to start to cover up all that Uglyness. lol

it is just some very light weight woven fabric from a craft store (6 yards). I bought it for only 20ppd from a gal a while back. it does not have the diagonal stretch a quality wrap would, but it works fine for the newbie...and the occasional silly time with the big kids. I'm trying to save up for a girasol.
