Diaper Swappers

Wondering if these are worth venturing into. Ebay is annoying and people can be terrible on there, but people pay a ton of money on there for everything it seems. Wondering what other's experiences are. Anyone tried Etsy.com?

I use ebay, never tried etsy. Most of my ebay experiences have been good. Some days do better than others and you will occasionally run into a weirdo.

I don't sell my items on ebay(I can barely keep up with my website lol) I do sell other "stuff" I want to get rid of on ebay. Ebay can really be a hit or miss though

Plus you are charged fees

I've tried to access etsy a few times and it is UNGODLY slow to load. I ALWAYS close it before it loads. I have avoided ebay myself because there is an abundance of slings on there. I've considered putting up a Mei Tai once to see how it goes, but stuff seems to either go really cheap or really expensive.

I started on EWbay but don't tend to sell there anymore. I can't keep up with my site and the fees were killing me. I have a couple things on Etsy but have never sold anything there. I have sold some things on WAHM Chicks.

Thanks everyone for your ideas and thoughts about these. I think I'll try out wahmchicks for some stuff. We just got a hyena congo, so I'm going to see how that goes first!!

I used to list over at ebay alot back in 2003 and 2004. I have had mostly ok to good experiences but had a couple that were not very pleasant - using new names every 30 days to scam with.

I have really gotten away from bothering and back in the days I listed there may have only been 500 listings for diapers instead of 1000.

I definately second www.wahmchicks.com. Come July some times the traffic will pick up due to some semi annual Charity stuff going on.

I've been on eBay for about 7 years and have only had a few bad experiences and they were always as a buyer, as a seller i've had nothing but smooth transactions. eBay is a GREAT way to advertise and get your name out there. When I sell on eBay I do it for the advertising (hyena is cheaper), it is good to get yourself on as many as you can. If I ever have time i'd put something on etsy as well just to get my name there, you know? Spread yourself out!

Ama, do you sell through an Ebay store, or just separate listings? I've only bought a few times and never sold, but I'm considering it...
