What bc are you using while breastfeeding?

I am on the copper IUD as well. I wanted something with no hormones but we are NOT in a good position emotionally or financially to have another child right now so I had to choose something.

EBF til 7 mo (would have longer, but had to work and dd wouldn't take a bottle). AF didn't come until dd was 15 mo. Now I just check my ovulation. Probably going to get pregnant again some day soon, though, since we are wired to want it more when we are ovulating!! LOL
I've had the talk w/ dh *if we don't do something we will have another baby* so all's fair, I guess!
(yeah, I've got pregnancy tests in my iso...lol)

Have been ebf for almost 9 months and getting the copper iud next week. Little nervous, but hormones are NOT an option and we need something. Lol! Dh thinks he's a rabbit. Lol!

Just got Mirena back.

I got AF back 2 months PP.. And EBFing.. NOT FAIR. lol I've BF with Mirena before, no problems.

On the mini pill. We're at 10 months now and still no flow! I did gain a touch of weight though

Copper IUD. I love that its hormone free and whenever I am ready to ttc again I can get it out and get pregnant right away! I had a hard time getting pregnant after being on the pill

Used the Mirena and started cereal at 6 months.

I use VCF. I like it. DS is 2.5 years old, I do bf still, and it seems to be working

i had the copper iud after dd...im not on anything right now..just tracking sort of and the pull n pray lol DS is 9 1/2 months mostly ebf, he was eating some food but when he started teething the food went downhill, all about the boobie now but i liked the paragard iud, only issue i had was me spazzing out mentally not because of it just like "omg theres a thing inside my uterus, wtf!" kind of moments that was all though ))
if i do some birth control method again, that is what id do!

Copper IUD. Inserted 6 mos pp, AF didn't return til 7-8 mos pp. I liked that it was non-hormonal, long-term, and I didn't have to remember ANYTHING lol. I used to have the nuvaring and I could barely handle that. I knew I would wind up pg again if I had to remember to "do" anything.
It's been really great esp since we are not planning to ttc #2 for another year or so (so it would be in place for 2-3 years). expensive but totally worth it imo.
