I'm just seeing this for the first time, but it hits really close to home. We lost my 14 year old nephew to a brainstem glioma (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) at the end of May, jut 11 months after he was diagnosed. I'm heartbroken for my sister, and for those mamas as well.

Painful Painful Painful. I just sobbed and sobbed. That beautiful girl going from such bright eyes and happy smile to just a shadow of herself.......so terrible. Why do children have to got thro such trauma??? Absolutely unfair.

Mishi posted in the forums that as of 5pm today, Stella's breathing has become very shallow. It has been 12 days since she last had anything to eat or drink. They are unsure if she'll make it through the night, but she managed to make it to Sam's first birthday (yesterday) and her cousin Xavier's first birthday (today).
